This training system consists of the training vehicle and the corresponding e-learning companion course. The practice course modules deepen and complement the theory modules in a unique way.

With this training system the previously acquired knowledge, skills and abilities on the subject of "Electrical High-Voltage-drive" are practiced and tested in practice through work orders. By using the break-out box for the power control module (PCM), the break-out box for the High-Voltage battery and other measurement points the students walk through the measurement tasks independently. The vehicle is prepared with 10 well described and practically relevant errors. As an exercise for the safe handling of High-Voltage-Vehicles a guided troubleshooting is integrated.

The training vehicle includes:
- 1x break-out box to the PMC, safe to touch and short-circuit proof!
- 1x break-out box for the HV battery and BMS (Battery Management System) safe to touch and short-circuit proof!
- 50x test sockets to support troubleshooting
- 10x Error hook-up with work order and description
- 6x Safe to touch and short-circuit proof gauge points on inverter
- Transparent shield of the inverter and the HV battery
- All additional high voltage measuring outlets are voltage reduced by 10:1

Work orders troubleshooting or diagnostic:
- Work Order ABS / TRAC / VSC (warning light 'ABS' and 'ASR' shine)
- Work order and ECT Engine (poor driving performance)
- Work Order PMC (vehicle does not move)
- Work Order PMC (stops the vehicle and to be towed)
- Work Order PMC (vehicle runs rough at start up)
- Work Order PMC (warning light 'check hybrid' lights)
- Work Order PMC (vehicle sometimes can not be made 'P' is off)
- Work Order (PMC. Stop vehicle, 'check hybrid' lights, can no longer be in 'D' o 'R' switch)
- Work Order PMC (stops the vehicle, several messages on the display)

Note that it is assumed in the work orders that the instructor is certified as an expert for "working under voltage" (in the sense of BG 8686) and able to monitor all steps of the trainees. The responsibility for the use of this training system is in all cases at the educational institution and the course leader. In the vehicle emergency stop switches are installed, with which all live parts of the high voltage system can be de-energized. All the high-voltage measuring points have a reduced voltage by the factor of 10: 1.
